Obama’s Internal Investigation Will Be Used to Help… Blagojevich?

That’s what Blago’s lawyer is hoping anyway… But I think Obama’s interal investigation will do about as much to exonerate Blagojevich as it did to exonerate Obama’s staff. After all, how credible can any investigation into one’s (or the one’s) own guilt be? P.S. Hello to everybody from the Conservative Grapevine!

Obama Drops Windfall Profits Tax

In an act that further proves that Obama believes there is such a thing as too much success he decided to drop his famed windfall profits tax proposal. Now, right now you might be saying “But CP (College Politico), dropping a proposed tax is a good thing and encourages success”. To which I would reply “yes, awesome and intelligent reader, that is true but its not the fact that he dropped the tax proposal which proves he thinks a person or company can be too successful but, rather, its the reasoning behind it. You see, Obama has decided to drop

Richardson joins Obama’s Cabinet

The day after Hillary Clinton accepted the Secretary of State post the fact that New Mexican Governor Bill Richardson will be nominated as Commerce Secretary was leaked. Yup, the man widely (and rightfully) referred to as “Judas” by the Clinton camp will now be working hand in hand with Hillary herself. Brilliant! Forget the “team of rivals” label this is much closer to a “team of liberal who hate each other” shaping up. I guess we will have to wait and see how it plays out. The best we can hope for, i would think, is that they quickly implode

Associated Press Cites Cookie Success as Example of Obama’s Change

No… I couldn’t make this up if I tried: Want an example of the change Barack Obama is bringing to the country? Check out cookie sales at Baby Boomers Cafe in Des Moines. Yes… that’s right, not only is Obama our new savior but he is now our new Pillsbury Doughboy. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_I3br9m-68 Actually, judging by this comment from the owner of the cafe that Obama has shown his grace upon maybe he is a strange doughboy messiah combination, or, in other words, he is a savory savior: “I think everybody just … thought, ‘Oh, great cookie, great president _ the

Biden vs Palin so far…

So the number 1s have chosen their number 2s. Lets take a minute to make a video comparison of the two latest video from Joe Biden and Sarah Palin. Here’s biden at a campaign event making a little gaffe and sounding just plain painful… (Bob Casey jr was negative 2 years old at the time) httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZN5khF2i2ek&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2008/08/30/video-biden-sees-unborn-people/ And here’s Sarah Palin on CNBC sounding smooth and informed… plus she isn’t afraid to directly critique her own party. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2GE11URmmnc&eurl=http://hotair.com/archives/2008/08/29/video-palin-knocks-biden-on-drilling-ties-it-to-national-security/ McCain’s pick looks better and better every hour… can you say the same of Obama’s pick?

Huckabee to supporters: Palin pick “pleasant surprise”

Contrary to what others in the conservative community might think it seems that Mike Huckabee isn’t trying to fracture the party or “stir up the same sense of grievance among the Huckheads that finding out Hillary wasn’t vetted stirred up in the PUMAs” it seems that Mike Huckabee is actually quite happy with the VP choice. Here is the message he sent to supporters today: Sarah Palin for Vice President! Today at 12:48pm by Mike Huckabee Sarah Palin is a pleasant surprise for those of us who had hoped that Senator McCain would pick a principled and authentic conservative pro-life

Obama intro video: less than a minute dedicated to his experience

I just rewound my Tivo after I was surprised at how little time they dedicated to trying to establish Barack Obama’s experience in his introduction video. And I’m not kidding on this… it was less than one minute, and that includes when they were talking about his “community organizer” and state senate days. According to my rough count they spent about 20-30 seconds (my exact count was 20 but I’ll throw in a buffer) on his national political experience. And even more odd than the lack of time spent on his national experience, because lets face it there just isn’t

Barack Obama: Messiah or Greek God?

By now I’m sure that we have all heard the Messianic claims of “The One”. You know, things like “this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal” or “a light will shine down, from somewhere, it will light upon you, you will experience an epiphany and you will say to yourself, I have to vote for Barack” (outlined ever so subtly in this McCain ad). And its clear by the undying devotion of the Obamatrons that he is not the only one who believes that he has “become a

Obama’s attempt to be as cool as a 12 year old girl fails horribly…

So it seems that Barack Obama’s master plan to text all of his adoring obamatons with his vice presidential pick before anyone else was a complete and total failure (a lot like the pick itself). Yes, you heard it right, the plan heralded by “unbiased” reporters and preteens alike took a turn for the worst last night. Yup apparently supporters who signed up for the special texts were not the first to be notified, despite the promise from the Obama campaign, and not by a long shot. Some of the first reports in the media came around 11pm on the
