Another Reason I’ll Never Buy a Microsoft Zune; Upate: Problem Fixes Itself?

zune Already included in the list are all the reasons I would never buy an ipod either. Namely the fact that you can only use them with Apple (or Microsoft) software in order to get music and itunes (or the zune store or whatever the heck its called) is simply terrible.

Now massive failure on a grand scale will be added to the top of the list.

Guess I’ll have to stick with my trusty old Dell DJ from back in the day…

Burris Throws Blagojevich Under the Bus

blagojevich and burris The day after the awkward, poorly staged, and all around strange press conference where Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich defied everyone and choose former Illinois Attorney Gen. Roland Burris to replace Barack Obama in the Senate Burris has gone and pulled an Obama by completely trashing Blago.

Here’s how CNN put it:

The man appointed by embattled Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich to fill President-elect Barack Obama’s Senate seat said Wednesday his appointment to the position is legal, despite the charges against the governor.

Former Illinois Attorney Gen. Roland Burris said Blagojevich is innocent until proven guilty, even though his behavior “is reprehensible.”

“I don’t look upon the governor’s problems as my problems. I look at the governor’s problems as his problems,” Burris said.

NYT Sued Over Story Implying McCain Had an Affair

The Associated Press is reporting that the lobbyist the New York Times insinuated had an affair with John McCain (here is some background information on the NYT piece) has filed suit against the paper to the tune of $27 million:

A Washington lobbyist sued The New York Times for $27 million Tuesday over an article that she says gave the false impression she had an affair with Sen. John McCain in 1999.

Vicki L. Iseman filed the defamation suit in U.S. District Court in Richmond. It also names as defendants the Times’ executive editor, its Washington bureau chief and four reporters. Continue reading NYT Sued Over Story Implying McCain Had an Affair
