		<description>I think fear of car insurance rates increasing encourages people to drive more carefully.  If someone doesn&#039;t have to worry about paying more, they will drive more recklessly.

I also believe that is a problem with government health insurance.  People will take advantage of the system and use doctors and hospitals more than they would if it came out of their own pocket.</description>

		<description>I am opposed to mandatory auto insurance as well as mandatory health care insurance.  Why should a poor person who needs a car to go to work or school have to pay car insurance?  I have car insurance because I have a car and money in the bank.  It&#039;s a real drain on a person with a limited income.

Poor people are judgment proof.  That means it is futile to sue them, because the complainant will get nothing.

The uninsured could be handled by having a small premium on your policy which covers uninsured drivers.  it would not be expensive.</description>
