Come on… will the merchandising ever end? I mean how can I be expected to take this “monumental achievement” when its being cheapened to the level of the snuggie. I mean sure this time Obama’s people weren’t the ones behind the cornyness, it was a minor league baseball team from Brooklyn or “Baraklyn“, but they’ve [...]

Yup, they want to send their chief nuclear envoy to witness the coronation inauguration of Obama. They were even extra super nice in asking and refrained from their usual US-bashing crap. If the Associated Press is right about these bad guys (who are really just misunderstood good guys) then maybe they’ve turned of a new, [...]

According to the Associated Press: The Illinois House could vote as early as next week on whether to impeach Gov. Rod Blagojevich. The Illinois House has bumped up its schedule and will meet several days next week. They had been set to reconvene on Jan. 12. This comes as a little bit of a shock [...]

The day after the awkward, poorly staged, and all around strange press conference where Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich defied everyone and choose former Illinois Attorney Gen. That’s what Blago’s lawyer is hoping anyway… But I think Obama’s interal investigation will do about as much to exonerate Blagojevich as it did to exonerate Obama’s staff. After all, how credible can any investigation into one’s (or the one’s) own guilt be? P.S. Hello to everybody from the Conservative Grapevine! addthis_url = ‘http%3A%2F%2Fthecollegepolitico.com%2Fobamas-internal-investigation-will-be-used-to-help-blagojevich%2F’; addthis_title [...]

So, first we hear Obama deny that anyone in his staff had any contact with anyone from Blagojevich’s staff over his replacement for the Senate. Then we hear that Rahm Emanuel, Obama’s chief of staff, had direct contact with contact with Blagojevich’s chief of staff about who should replace Obama in the Senate. And now [...]

In an act that further proves that Obama believes there is such a thing as too much success he decided to drop his famed windfall profits tax proposal. Now, right now you might be saying “But CP (College Politico), dropping a proposed tax is a good thing and encourages success”. To which I would reply [...]

The day after Hillary Clinton accepted the Secretary of State post the fact that New Mexican Governor Bill Richardson will be nominated as Commerce Secretary was leaked. Yup, the man widely (and rightfully) referred to as “Judas” by the Clinton camp will now be working hand in hand with Hillary herself. Brilliant! Forget the “team [...]
